1 Cast Tape Usage

• Used in the treatment of patients with fractures or other orthopedic injuries. Can be used for shock prevention, protection, pain relief, and treatment of affected areas in cases where body parts require pressure, immobility, or support.
• Widely used for patients with fractures and other orthopedic injuries due to its superior breathability, strength to weight ratio, and durability.

2 Characterstics of Cast Tape

• Two varieties of casting tape involve embedding water-curable resin into knitted fabric made of fiberglass or polyester. Curing begins 3-5 minutes after submersion in water, and the cast becomes strong enough to bear weight in about 20 minutes.
• Made from woven fiberglass or polyester and widely used for fracture patients due to its superior breathability, strength, lightness, and durability.

1 Cast Tape의 용도

• 골절상이나 기타 정형외과 질환을 입은 환자를 치료하는데 사용되며, 신체의 일부분을 압박하여 고정하거나 지지해줄 필요가 있을 경우에 적용하는 제품으로 처치 부위에 대한 충격예방과 보호, 통증경감 및 치료등의 목적에 사용 할 수 있습니다.
• Cast는 통풍성이 뛰어나고 강도에 비하여 가벼우며 내구성이 뛰어나 골절등 기타 정형외과 질환을 입은 환자들에게 널리 사용되고 있다.

2 Cast Tape의 특징

• Cast용으로 사용되는 테이프는 유리섬유와 폴리에스테르 섬유를 이용하여 제직한 편직물 형태의 원단에 수경화성수지를 함침하는 2가지 타입으로 물에 침수 후 3~5분이 지나면 경화가 시작되고 약 20분이 경과되면 무게를 지지할 정도로 단단해집니다.
• Fiber Glass와 Polyester을 편직하여 통풍이 좋고, 강도가 뛰어나면서 가벼우며, 내구성이 뛰어나 골절환자에게 널리 사용되고 있는 제품 입니다.
